BioSmart Technologies provides warranty service and factory authorized parts for all BioSmart in-wall heaters regardless of the vendor, contractor, or retailer that it was purchased from. Our parts for these heaters carry BioSmart’s own manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials & workmanship.
BioSmart Technologies does not accept returns for refund in-wall heaters that have been installed and then removed.
BioSmart Technologies does provide rapid assistance and warranty or replacement parts for installed units. If the unit has been installed less than 90 days from its original purchase date, BioSmart Technologies will also provide free shipping of warranty parts to the contractor or original customer. BioSmart Technologies may request the return of the defective part before proceeding to ship warranty replacement parts.
BioSmart Technologies does not pay for shipping of warranty or replacement parts to customers or dealers/contractors after the first 90 days.
Dealers or contractors may refer their customers to us for customer service and warranty issues at their discretion. Generally speaking, the contractor or dealer should provide some customer service and a general knowledge of the function and operating parameters of the heating unit.
Warranty terms for BioSmart In-Wall heaters: Please refer to your owner’s manual for specific terms and conditions. In general, BioSmart warranties the ceramic infrared plates and fan motor in their in-wall heaters to the original purchaser for a period of five years. All other electrical parts are warrantied for a period of one year from date of purchase. PC Board failures are usually the result of power outages and brown-outs. PC Board failures and relay failures occurring after 30 days are most likely not caused by manufacturing defects although BioSmart stands behind them for one full year from date of purchase.
